This series documents my role as the official photographer for CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous 2024 — Canada’s national conference for professionals in live performance technology. The event brought together industry leaders, educators, and students for four days of panels, workshops, a trade show, and networking events.
My coverage included key moments from the Opening Soirée, Trade Show, “Training the Eye” sessions, and general conference atmosphere. I focused on capturing dynamic interactions, speaker highlights, detailed visuals of exhibits, and the energy of the community. The resulting imagery was used for CITT/ICTS promotional materials and archives.
Opening Soirée – CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous 2024

As the official event photographer, I documented the Opening Soirée held along the scenic riverbank and inside the Persephone Theatre. This mid-week celebration brought together delegates, speakers, and organizers in a casual yet impactful atmosphere. The evening featured an Indigenous guest speaker, welcoming remarks, networking moments, and shared food and drinks. I captured both the formal and candid aspects of the evening — from speeches and cultural presentations to details like food spreads and vendor displays — helping build a rich visual narrative for CITT/ICTS’s archives and promotional materials.

I photographed the two-day trade show, highlighting exhibitors, product demos, and key industry innovations. The focus was on capturing a professional yet approachable tone — showcasing gear, conversations between vendors and attendees, and the hands-on nature of live event tech. These images supported CITT/ICTS’s outreach and sponsor visibility for future events.
