February 2025 – On-location Film Set
I worked as the Unit Stills Photographer for Year 2000, a short film centred on the Y2K scare and late-1990s nostalgia. The film explored the cultural tension of the time through stylized set design and moody visuals.
My role involved capturing high-quality stills during production, including behind-the-scenes moments, lighting setups, character interactions, and environmental details. I worked with discretion on a live set to avoid disrupting filming, while ensuring coverage of key visual storytelling elements. The shoot required quick adaptation to changing lighting conditions, moving between natural light and low-key interior setups.
In addition to stills, I designed the film’s official promotional poster, incorporating photography and graphic layout to reflect the project’s retro-futuristic tone.
These assets were used for festival submissions, promotional content, and archival documentation.
